The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) was founded in 1985 and dedicated to fostering excellence, integrity and innovation in the aging services field. To enhance these important efforts, CCAC merged in 2003 with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body promoting quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process. The alignment of these respected organizations has been a positive step in creating an independent resource to help consumers identify high-quality care providers for older adults.

An organization receiving this Five-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF-CCAC's high standards. It is widely regarded as the "seal of excellence" in identifying high quality programs and services to older adults.

Grace Manor
In June of 2008, Grace Manor apartments became an affiliate with St. Andrew's Village, through Presbyterian Senior Living. The affiliation has provided additional resources to Grace Manor while enabling the strong connection to its Methodist roots to continue.
