Brian has served as the Executive Director at St. Andrew’s Village since 2006. He is responsible for the overall satisfaction and fiscal stability of the Independent and Personal Care communities and the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center at St. Andrew’s Village. He began at St. Andrew’s Village in 1995, working first in the Nursing Department and then as Admissions and Marketing Director, Human Resources Manager and Assistant Administrator. He holds a B.S. in nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and became a certified aging services professional through the University of North Texas.

Kim joined St. Andrew’s Village in 2001 as an Admissions and Marketing Director for all levels of service. Today, Kim’s primary focus is marketing Independent and Personal Care services. She also serves as the liaison with the media, businesses, churches, civic groups and health care organizations within Indiana County. In that role, she promotes the wide variety of services and opportunities available for seniors at St. Andrew’s Village. Kim is a graduate of the Bradford School of Business in Pittsburgh.
Belva Marco

Belva oversees the daily operations of the Julia Pound Health Care Center, ensuring overall resident satisfaction, quality of care, resident rights and staffing. She also serves on the interdisciplinary committees that focuses on the care provided to our residents. Since 1983, Belva has served as a Nursing Home Administrator. Prior to joining St. Andrew’s Village she most recently served at William Penn Care Center, which is a continuing care retirement community located in Westmoreland County. She has excelled in regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and has numerous awards for orchestrating management teams.
Norma Malek

Norma serves as Director of The Village House, our 22-suite Personal Care residence. She is responsible for maintaining care plans for the residents and serves as the liaison for residents and their physicians. She also manages budgets, recruiting and retention of the personal care staff, and serves on numerous interdisciplinary committees and teams that focus on the care provided to our residents. Norma often leads the monthly meetings of our Resident Council.
Laura Deet

Laura brings more than 17 years of experience in nursing to St. Andrew’s Village. She serves as the Director of Nursing for our health care and rehabilitation center which serves 131 people. She manages the health care center staff of over 80 nurses and certified nursing assistants for that provide care for residents on our skilled nursing unit, rehabilitation care, long-term care and memory support units. Laura is also responsible for maintaining the nursing department budget as well as recruiting and retaining the nursing staff. She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in Ohio and her professional affiliation include Pennsylvania Director of Nurses Association (PADONA).
Barbara Swasy

Barbara serves as Nurse Liaison in our health care center's admissions office. She has a vast amount of nursing experience including cardiac care, home health, psychiatric nursing and long-term care. Her responsibilities include reviewing referrals, interacting with area hospitals and physicians and resident's families to ensure that St. Andrew's Village is able to meet all the resident's medical and emotional needs. She works with the resident and their family to help make the transition into the health care center easier, answering all of their questions, introducing them to staff members and making them feel welcome.
